Politically-motivated songwriter and Sunday Best signing L.A. Salami released his new album The Cause of Doubt & a Reason to Have Faith on Friday. Arriving alongside it comes an arty video for its third and final single 'The Talis-man on the Age of Glass' - a poignant slow-burner that contemplates "growing up, taking ownership of your past and making something better from it." Balancing strung-out guitars with somber, reverb-softened harmonicas and glittering synthesizers, metronomic 808 beats give an electronic feel to the broad instrumentation that dances beneath Salami's earnestly delivered vocals. The accompanying video, which stars Salami and and actor Frank Dilliane (Fear Of the Walking Dead & Harry Potter), sees the duo paying homage to the art of mime, with Salami opting for black paint instead of white.
